Don’t Bring Your Laptop to Class

Wow, it has been a long time since I’ve written in this blog. The last two months have been incredibly busy for me. Now that I have a little more free time, this blog should recieve more attention.

Anyways, the other day I was reading a blog entry from David Cole on the Britannica Blog called Why I Ban Laptops in My Classroom. This article illustrated a point that I comment on constantly. GetHundos Targets UW Students With Themed Contests

GetHundos
GetHundos is a startup that has recently gone into beta. GetHundos is a social networking site for college students. Right now it is open exclusively to University of Washington students and their friends. Today, I signed up for this fun service and tested it out. So far it has been pretty humorous and very engaging.

Why I Don’t Really Harp On Vista

In light of Microsoft’s $300 million dollar counterattack to Apple’s hilarious commercials, the Vista vs. OS X (vs. Linux) battle seems to be at an all time high. I have been thinking about this for a long time. And to tell the truth, I don’t think Vista is that bad.
